The Cultural Committee at BKSPMS organizes all major cultural events like the Fresher’s Party, Milaap, and Farewell. It fosters unity through social gatherings, fun activities, and celebrations. The committee handles all planning, coordination, and logistics, often collaborating with other clubs to strengthen student bonding and team spirit.
Shabd
“Shabd” – An open mic event of BKSPMS, is a platform where BKites shed stage inhibitions and express their love for an art form like music, poetry, short stories and stand up comedy. This periodically held event provides creative space not only to the artists but also non-artists, who can read out their favourite poem, lines in front of the audience. Shabd is cheerful, inclusive and pleasant, which would leave the audience smiling and craving for more.
Vrund
We all know that Navratri and Garba are more of an emotion to any Gujarati out there. This brings us to Vrund- the most traditional event of BKSPMS, when all the students dress up in colorful traditional attires and dance their hearts out. The event commences with “Aarti” which is performed by the Director, faculties and the students together. The main attraction of this event is also the titles of Garba King and Garba Queen, followed by the awards for the “Best Dressed Boy/Girl”. All in all, it is night filled with laughter, music, dance and of course, blooming friendships
Farewell Partys
Godspeed, symbolizing good wishes for a new journey, is the final and most emotional event organized by the Junior Cultural Committee for their seniors. It’s a heartfelt farewell where we celebrate our seniors with a night full of dance, fun activities, and deep emotions. The Cultural Committee ensures the “Last Dance” is truly unforgettable, filled with laughter, memories, and love. The evening concludes with mementos and farewell messages, as juniors bid an emotional goodbye, cherishing the bonds and moments shared.
