Overall Objective

The Students’ Affairs Council (SAC) at BK School of Professional and Management Studies is dedicated to fostering the learning, development, and welfare of students through a variety of activities and events. It serves as the voice of all students, advocating for their rights and ensuring their holistic development both academically and through extracurricular engagement.

Position Wise Responsibilities

Convener

  • Facilitates effective communication between students, the council, and the administration.
  • Addresses any challenges hindering the execution of initiatives.
  • Ensures transparency and inclusivity in decision-making processes.

Secretary

  • Maintains a comprehensive calendar of all campus events and activities.
  • Ensures timely execution of scheduled events.
  • Identifies opportunities for enhancing student learning experiences.

Academic Clubs Head

  • Establishes and maintains a robust structure for all academic clubs.
  • Supports the growth and development of clubs to enrich student learning.
  • Facilitates activities that promote academic excellence and skill development.

Non-Academic Clubs Head

  • Develops an effective framework for all non-academic clubs.
  • Fosters the discovery and nurturing of students' talents through club activities.
  • Promotes awareness and engagement in non-academic pursuits that complement academic learning.

Club Members' Removal or Additions

  • Club interviews conducted by senior members for junior positions.
  • Convener and Clubs Heads responsible for subsequent additions or dismissals.
  • Decisions finalized after consultation with the respective Clubs Head in SAC.
  • Right to appeal for removed members in case of perceived injustice.

Renaissance

Renaissance is the flagship event of BK School of Professional and Management Studies, organized and led by the Students' Affairs Council (SAC). It features a series of engaging activities, competitions, and interactive games that encourage student participation, foster creativity, and build a sense of community across batches. The event is a celebration of talent, teamwork, and the vibrant spirit of the institution.

AARASH – The Annual Magazine

AARASH is the annual magazine presented by the Students' Affairs Council, serving as a platform to showcase the creative expressions and achievements of the BKSPMS community. It features insightful articles, inspiring stories, and personal journeys of faculty members, students, and alumni. The magazine reflects the academic and cultural richness of the institute while preserving its legacy and aspirations.

  • Selection of SAC Members:
    Elected through voting by the students of the first year.
  • Dismissal or Removal of SAC Members:
    Requires majority agreement among council members.
