Overview
The Cultural Committee at BKSPMS organizes all major cultural events like the Fresher’s Party, Milaap, and Farewell. It fosters unity through social gatherings, fun activities, and celebrations. The committee handles all planning, coordination, and logistics, often collaborating with other clubs to strengthen student bonding and team spirit.
Freshers’ Party
The first step towards welcoming the juniors and making them feel at home- The Freshers Party. This is a night full of fun activities, games and a lot of laughter and dancing. The event where the starry eyed juniors look forward to- Freshers’ party marks the beginning of the junior-senior bond which only gets strengthened as the days pass. Also, the title of Mr. and Ms. Fresher is given to the most dynamic junior each year and this is an integral part of this event..
Teacher's Day
A day dedicated to our mentors — by the students, for the teachers. At BKSPMS, we celebrate this special occasion to express our heartfelt gratitude to the faculty who continuously guide, inspire, and support us. The event features interactive and engaging activities that foster stronger connections between students and teachers. As a token of appreciation, mementos or gifts are presented to the faculty, followed by joyful photo sessions that capture the spirit of respect, celebration, and togetherness.
Vrund
We all know that Navratri and Garba are more of an emotion to any Gujarati out there. This brings us to Vrund- the most traditional event of BKSPMS, when all the students dress up in colorful traditional attires and dance their hearts out. The event commences with “Aarti” which is performed by the Director, faculties and the students together. The main attraction of this event is also the titles of Garba King and Garba Queen, followed by the awards for the “Best Dressed Boy/Girl”. All in all, it is night filled with laughter, music, dance and of course, blooming friendships
Roshni
Roshni is our college’s vibrant Diwali celebration, where tradition meets festivity. The campus glows with lights, rangoli art, and joyous performances. Students showcase cultural acts that reflect the spirit of togetherness. It’s a night of celebration, warmth, and dazzling memories.
Panache
Panache is the second-day flagship cultural event of Renaissance, celebrating diverse talent from Ahmedabad and beyond. Artists perform live on stage, showcasing music, dance, drama, and more. The event draws massive energy with a dynamic audience and thrilling acts. A celebrity guest appearance adds glamour and becomes the core attraction of the night.
Fiesta
Fiesta is a vibrant 3-day celebration of college spirit through exciting themed days. From Traditional Day and Signature Day to Unity Day and creative theme-based outfits, students come together to express themselves and build camaraderie. Each day brings fun-filled activities, photo ops, and unforgettable moments. It’s all about joy, unity, and campus vibes at their best!
Farewell Partys
Godspeed, symbolizing good wishes for a new journey, is the final and most emotional event organized by the Junior Cultural Committee for their seniors. It’s a heartfelt farewell where we celebrate our seniors with a night full of dance, fun activities, and deep emotions. The Cultural Committee ensures the “Last Dance” is truly unforgettable, filled with laughter, memories, and love. The evening concludes with mementos and farewell messages, as juniors bid an emotional goodbye, cherishing the bonds and moments shared.
